Mr. Denis Yip, Senior Vice President, EMC Corporation, President, EMC Greater China
Denis Yip is Senior Vice President and President of EMC Greater China, with responsibilities for managing EMC’s overall business operations in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He reports to Steven Leonard, EMC’s President, Asia Pacific/Japan.
Since joining EMC in July 2006, Denis Yip has successfully strengthened EMC China’s leadership position in the Greater China region with remarkable business growth. Denis’ experience has helped enhance partner and channel relationships, further expand the sales and service teams, extended geographic coverage and enhance product and solutions development throughout the region.
In March 2007, Denis announced the EMC China Five-Year Plan, emphasizing EMC’s commitment to maintaining its number one position in China’s information infrastructure solutions market.
The key components of the plan include: preserving its lead in the traditional storage market and its dominance of the high-end market while looking to expand its position in the mid-market; developing the channels to stimulate business growth in the SME market; retaining the number one position in enterprise content management and next generation data deduplication technologies; and doubling software business revenue every year. To this point, EMC has exceeded all targets laid out in the five-year plan with strong prospects for continued success.
Prior to joining EMC, Denis was the President of the Asia Pacific Storage Division of IBM. He has more than 17 years of worldwide industry experience in information management, software and global sales and services. He is currently based in Beijing.
Denis holds a bachelor and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. He also holds a MBA degree from Golden Gate University. |

Mr. Chuck Hollis, Vice President, Global Marketing CTO, EMC Corporation
A 16-year EMC veteran, Chuck is a key member of EMC’s management team, working on strategic aspects of marketing, business development and technology. He is a popular industry blogger (http://chucksblog.emc.com) and also is leading EMC’s social media proficiency initiative.
Chuck is a popular industry speaker with a variety of audiences, covering many aspects of the fast-paced evolution IT: cloud, virtualization, security, social computing – and, of course, storage.
Previously, Chuck ran EMC’s Technology Alliances organization, building strong partnerships that deliver customers superior multi-vendor solutions. Prior to that, he was VP of Strategic Marketing, where he helped map out key aspects of EMC’s transformation strategy, messaging and field execution.
Chuck has also been EMC’s VP of Storage Platforms Marketing, responsible for EMC's overall platform product strategy and offerings across all major market segments. Chuck has also had significant field roles, including Director of Sales Operations, leading the Professional Services and Systems Engineering organizations for EMC in Europe.
Chuck originally came to EMC as part of an initial team to help EMC enter the open systems market. Since then, he has been at the forefront of many of EMC's go-to-market initiatives, including specific application markets (ERP, NT and DW) as well as storage-based initiatives (Enterprise Storage, storage software and Enterprise Storage Networks).
Prior to EMC, Chuck worked at several UNIX and database companies in Silicon Valley. Chuck has received degrees in Computer Science and Economics from University of California at Santa Cruz. |

Mr. Daniel Burgin, Senior Vice President, Head Asia Pacific, NYSE Technologies
Mr. Burgin has been appointed as Head Asia Pacific of NYSE Technologies in September 2011 and has served since then as a member of NYSE Technologies’ Operating Committee.
Prior to joining the NYSE Group (from 2001 to 2011), Mr. Burgin was the CEO of Metabit Co., Ltd., Tokyo which was acquired by NYSE Technologies in September 2011.
Before taking the assignment to build up Metabit’s business, Mr. Burgin’s professional career spanned 12 years at UBS Securities in different managerial business positions in Switzerland and Japan, being appointed Executive Director and Regional Manager Equities IT Asia Pacific of UBS Securities Japan in 1999.
Mr. Burgin graduated from the Federal Business School of Commerce in Lenzburg, Switzerland and has a Swiss Federal Degree in Organization and Project Management. |

Jeffrey Kok is the Technical Consultant Director, Asia Pacific and Japan of RSA, The Security Division of EMC. In his designation, Jeffrey is responsible for driving the pre-sales systems engineering and technical architecture capabilities of RSA across the region. He has been representing RSA at the Asia Cloud Computing Association (ACCA) since 2010.
Mr. Kok has over 11 years of expertise in the information, systems and network security industry, with a track record of leadership excellence. Mr. Kok has been with RSA for four years and was previously the Strategic Solutions Consultant. Scott Brady Drummonds is Director, vSpecialist and Mid-tier, in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).
